Jaye completed the 1st year of a BA Degree in Fine Art with Grade
A, and is currently in her 2nd year.
She is also working on other Photographic and DV Video projects.

Statement
Pixie
"I am currently working on a female erotica project with
Nadia, a model who has worked in the glamour industry for three
years, but who is bored with the way the female body is perceived
in this territory. These photographs portray her personality rather
than a male manipulated image. Though the photo of her running a
knife over her abdomen appears to be phallic, it is not, because
she has told me that she does this subconsciously, similar to doodling
and twirling hair. These photos are set in her disorderly bedroom,
and have a playful but moody feel to them."
Skin Surveillance
"These photos were taken in a gallery in Barcelona, where the
walkway was made of glass blocks. I found observing the shadows
of the people above was a weird form of surveillance. The appearance
of people is only the surface of who they are, questioning preconceptions
of a person, due to looks. The grid-like pattern of the cement between
the glass contrasts with the organic fleeting shapes that the body
creates."
