ALay Back by Vera Akotuahbout the ArtistInertlock by Vera Akotuah
Vera Akotuah attended London College of Fashion and studied Fashion Design. She is a self taught Artist and has a great interest in the human form in ways in which style and creativity can be expressed.

" I enjoy working with dry mediums like pastel and charcoal because they are quick and instant. I like studying, shading, tonal values and blending and dry mediums allow you to explore this. Because of my Fashion background my works all have a stylish flair about them. I enjoy art and feel it is a great way to make your mark and express your creativity"

Vera is a single mom and has recently launched her own children’s wear label called Smile Bright, (which is a fun unisex range of brightly coloured embroidered t-shirts for young children under 4.  She also works as an illustrator, collaborating with writers to produce children’s books and manga styled comics
